I waited until 5/2013 for my PW1, got 3 and sent 2 back and settled for 1, and got the worst Kindle I've ever had.
My KV replacement is here, but even if it's amazingly perfect it will probably go back since it's not serviceable for me in specific areas that are applicable only to me (bedroom reading) and I see no reason to pay so much for a area limited device. Wish it weren't true, but my really crappy PW1 is better in the bedroom for me than my KV.
I'm really happy that everyone else is having good results in all reading spaces (except for the screen issue, of course)
