As a KV owner - for the moment - I am in agreement. I was hopeful for the PP/PT buttons, but for me they are useless unless I am reading upright. That limits me to only using it in the living room or other "sitting" places. I always rotate older Kindles to my bedroom, where they get the least use, but this will prevent me from doing that and definitely lessens the desirability for me.
I tried the buttons in the bedroom last night and they were unusable for me. I had to use only the screen for PTs and the text, for whatever reason, was harder to read than my current PW1. The PW1 screen is darker overall, but is more desirable for bedroom reading. Can't explain why, not sure I even understand it, but it is what it is. I have a PW2 on the way, along with a replacement KV and I feel sure that I will be hard-pressed to keep the Voyage even with a stellar screen.
