I asked in another posting, for another similar program to Marvin, that I could use for my editing until Marvin is working again. I decided to use iBooks, since it's free, and works kinda like Marvin (not nearly do well though).
I've been simultaneously keeping up the edit highlights on Marvin, to check if they stay saved or not. I am sad to say, not. I was updating them this morning, and the tally didn't match. When I checked, several of the BLUE (italics-no notes) highlights have gone missing again.
I will continue to update the Marvin copy, in hopes of pinning down when/where the error is happening, and update here as I can.
I hope to help fix this, so I can quit using iBooks. It is sooo slow to react to any action.
