I have been a bibliophile for most of my 66 years. I love books, hard copies, and generally hard cover. I have quite an assortment of classic fiction, bios, histories, and religious books.

I had no interest in ebooks in any format until getting my first 'smart phone' a couple of years ago, I took advantage of the google books, and kindle apps. Not only the savings in $ for the public domain freebies, but the savings in living space. The portability.

Now having just set up my first bona fide ereader yesterday, a Kobo H2O, I wouldn't be surprised if in the coming years I divest myself of a large part of my physical library, and go digital for all but certain beloved hard copies. YMMV.
