No, I actually don't like the bullying methods you use to win arguments. Other than that I have no problem with you.

He made a joke. It was flippant, I admit. But you could tell it was a joke because of the smiley. You responded with a deliberate insult about his age. And even if you didn't think the joke was funny, your response was still way out of proportion.
