Since I can no longer convince myself that I need 3 Iliads, I decided to sell one.
It is "new, open box" - I bought it new two years ago as a backup device, and only used it to check that it works. I had the batteries replaced last year, and charged the device periodically, so they are in great condition too.

Personally, I have found the Iliad a very capable device for reading as well as for taking handwritten notes.
This device does not have shell access, so you can't install third party software out of the box.
