Thanks, but I'm aware of that one. I found that so-called workaround fairly fast. The problem is, it only shows one category. I want all of the categories displayed simultaneously, just like before.

This move on Apple's part to constantly eliminate the sidebar is just as boneheaded as Microsoft's attempts to get rid of the start menu. Why can't they leave it alone - people want these features.

That said, I rarely get into iTunes anymore, now that I no longer have an iPod touch. Even then, I only used iTunes for apps. Sure I'd download the occasional free book, song or movie, but I never spent any money for any type of content from Apple. I think it's time to liberate my non-app stuff.

I will keep iTunes because of Apple's 12 Days of Gifts promo last year. They just might do it again this year. Last year, one of the freebies was the movie, Hugo.
