Kobo started a review process back in JANUARY. In the author publisher newsletter that goes out, they gave us instructions for requesting reviews or having fans submit them. I not only put out the request on my blog, I submitted probably 10 reviews of my favorite books. For the first review submitted Kobo offered a generous 50 percent off coupon (which I used!) After 3 months I checked with them about the reviews because none appeared. I checked again after another couple of months.

They used a 3rd party company to collect the reviews and the 3rd party was supposedly going to sort them for validity/unique (no cutting and pasting a review from some other site) and to make sure they were submitted by actual individual Kobo users (in other words No author going and creating 9 accounts and reviewing her own book 9 times). But the reviews never appeared for products or books. Some of the big 6 books have a few reviews.
