I've been using drug store reading glasses for 20 years, but these will be first "all the time" ones. I'd probably have had them before now, but I have a bad habit of avoiding doctors. (Over the years I've gone from 1.00 to 2.75, so I'm running out of numbers.)
Still, I have the best eyes in my family, by far -- in fact, one of my younger sisters made the cover of an ophthalmologist journal back in the 70s -- so I'm not getting any sympathy.
