Hi menehune and welcome to MobileRead.

I used to live in Hawaii and here's how I describe it to people:

On your first day you like it well enough but you look down on the locals for their lazy island ways. By the third or fourth day, you are a little more understanding of that Island attitude but you remain resolved to return to the Mainland where the proper work ethic is always observed. By the seventh day, um, you forgot where you put your suitcase.

That's Hawaii!
