I've had a kobo glo, 3 paperwhites (the ol' receive-one-and-send-back-one-for-replacement game) 2 kobo aura HD's (dropped both, cracked screen) and now an H2O. Each device had either color hue issues or imperfections in the lightning layer or dust beneath the screen... or some other quirky thing.
At least in my experience, there is no truly spotless, flawless, perfectly even ereader-screen out there... feel free to prove me wrong, though.
