I sampled a book by Mark Leslie (He had a thriller on the sale rack that led me to a werewolf one. I can't remember the title.) Turns out the werewolf one was only a short story for 2.99 and not in the promo so I passed on that.

Then there was a cozy I still need to sample. Lora Weaver? Uhm. Yeah, that was it. I think it was the second in the series, but the boxed set is in one of the sales. I can't remember which sale, but I think it's 3 books in the boxed set. It sounds good, but there was a hint of a "Second" guy in the picture and I don't read love triangles so I have to go look at the reviews and sample.

I have read Lindsay Buroker (Urban fantasy and fantasy) but not the one in this sale. I already own it or it would have been on my list. I really liked the book of hers that I read (Torrent) --since I haven't read the current one one sale, I'm not sure if it is fantasy or UF because she writes both.

I've also read Connie Shelton (cozy). They caught my eye because they take place in NM (My home stomping grounds). The book wasn't but a little slower than I prefer my cozies. I know, I know. Cozies are not known for being thriller rides. I like'm pretty zany.

I agree that it would be helpful if the codes worked on more books!

I personally thought the list skewed too much romance and PNR, but they never have a lot of cozy/general mystery in the mix. I love UF, but most of the UF ones I looked at were actually PNR.

There's one other I need to sample, but I forgot to blog about it so now I gotta go through the list and find it again before end of today. I better hope my client is late!
