Shucks, that's only about 18 months old. My daughter's K3 (broken screen) was about 2.5 years old when I called Amazon and inquired about repair/replacement options. Amazon offered me a discounted (refurb) PW1 and I took it (I think this was before the PW2 came out). The refurb PW1 came with issues so they replaced it with a new one.
I've had several issues with things I've bought from Amazon. The most recent being an air compressor that arrived with shipping damage... twice. Finally, the 3rd one came without issue. But Amazon tried to refund my initial purchase price until I called and explained that I'd actually received an acceptable undamaged unit rather than a return for refund.
That's the 2nd time I've had to call about a return for replacement where Amazon tried to refund my money by accident. Hey, I like a deal as much as anyone else, but I was surprised that their system would allow mistakes like that to pass though.
