Hypernova, this is the returns policy Kobo emailed me

"Thank you for contacting Kobo Customer Care. We are pleased to assist you today.

You contacted us today because you are enquiring about the Kobo Aura H2O.

We do offer a period of time where you can return your purchase for a refund. This time period is typically 30 days from the date of purchase.

Upon receipt of your device, if you find fault with it (or simply don't like it), then we would transfer your account to our returns department and they would have specific instructions for you, such as where to ship the device.

For a return you would be responsible for the return postage. To be credited with a refund we most likely would have to receive the device and process it. This would be dependant on the shipping method you choose.

If you have any other questions or require further assistance, please contact us."
