The iPhone 6 only has 1gig of ram just like the iPhone 5 series. The new iPad Air 2 has 2gigs of ram. So yes, Apple has built in obsolescence into the iPhone 6. Even the more expensive Plus is just as limited.

It's time Apple got off their collective asses and built hardware that was made for the way things work instead of the way things used to work. Put in 4gig of ram and 32gig of storage with a micro SD card slot (which can also be used to install apps) and a user replaceable battery and make it the same screen size as the iPhone 6 plus and make it a little thicker (not thinner) and I'm sold.
