Eventually I solved the problem in a very unexpected way...
I let the update file (the same that didn't work out before) downloaded from ereader browser on my device and tried to install it when I was not at home, therefore with an other wifi network.
So it worked. This is so odd, 'cause I really tried a dozen times with the same procedure and worked only when I was connected to an other wifi...
