Assuming you got a .zip you should be golden, although you could verify by checking the md5 checksums provided directly from Alf.

that is a good solution - so long as you don'e install one of the many fake, malware infested
adblock plus extensions from the google chrome extensions store. google takes them down frequently but allows new ones to spring up
It's like the challenge we started with - how do you find the one genuine download link which is a page full of fake ones.
Most of the "use our downloader" adware /malware is either avaoidable - if you carefully read each installer screen before clicking or not, and is allegedly removable via add/remove programs. the sites that offer up this infestd crap make that latter claiom anyway.
