I have ~7000 ebooks on my external uSD card, behind a hidden folder. Leaving KOreader is not changing my external uSD card, in anyway I can see. If you are trying to use the external card with both Koreader and Nickel, you may have problems. How does it "disappear"? What programs do not see it?
