And with slight changes reboot can be done by an fmon icon in nickel, and changing the advboot script of koreader to reboot at exit, I use it like this, and changing readers or copying in USB Mode (possible only in Nickel) is not so painful. (Though in the last 1 month I used only the PDF reader of Nickel...)
