I actually agree. I actively use a Nook Glow, a Kobo Aura and a PW2, they are all good and I have no trouble reading on any of them.

I've also used more ereaders than I can quote here and the only one I ever had any real trouble with was the most expensive one I ever bought, a Sony PRS 650, I paid £250 for that one.
