Thanks for the replies. I haven't tried a factory reset, will try that soon. Don't have a paperclip with me at the moment
I didn't realize that e-ink screens need active changing. I left my Kobo at home on standby during a trip, so now I'm worried maybe the screen is toast. I remember the light by the power button flashing when I tried the pinhole reset.
I'll try the factory reset and get back with results, but not feeling very optimistic right now
