I really like my ipad and when it finally dies (or I break it) I will look for another one. I use it home more than my desktop for 90% of my computer usage. Im looking at getting a Iphone 6+ but I know it wont replace the ipad anymore than my current iphone5 does.

Im not a fan of the term phablet and while I like the bigger screen for a phone 5.7 even 6 inches does not a tablet make. Yes i can watch a movie in a pinch or type up a longer email but to me its a PITA and I will turn on the iPad and use my Brydge Keyboard.

Yes its more expensive than the competition but comparing the standard ipad at 8.9 inches and the others its not too far out of line, and Im tied into the eco-system for Apple and it just all works for me.

The latest IOS upgrade was detrimental to my ipad2 as its slowed it down a bit but so it goes. Im confident a fix will follow and either way its probably good for another year or so as long as I dont break it and then its time for new one. At $500 if it lasts 4 years $125 a year is worth for all the use Ive gotten out if it.
