I've made only a cursory examination, but I noticed that these are booklets of about 25-50 pages each. One thing that I was especially impressed with is the presence of cover-to-cover photos and illustrations, in beautiful, vibrant color. These booklets are very well done, at least aesthetically. Although I am a little bit past childhood now (ha), I got all 12 booklets for myself.

The series appears to be more about history than geography. These booklets seemed to be targeted toward kids in about the 4th-7th grades.

Oh, I guess that I should mention this, too: The regular print list price of these booklets is $12.99 each; the digital list price is regularly $2.99.

May I make an editorial comment? Thanks. IMHO kids need to be reading more of this kind of thing, instead of all of the fantasy and other fiction stuff that many of them read exclusively now. There, I've had my say about that.
