I have a case for my Paperwhite and use it if I'm throwing it into a bag for travel. But I find the extra bulk much less comfortable to hold than a "naked" (just a decorative vinyl skin) Kindle so once I'm home or at my destination out it comes. I agree it's a risk, but one I'm happy to take in favor of comfort. If I go ahead with the Voyage I might just make a sleeve for it until I see a case I like.
