Thanks so much for the info! I have added epubsplit to the Calibre toolbar and now will read the explanations and then experiment with splitting a book. I hadn't found it necessary before, but some of these anthologies are huge and I am not interested in all of the books (or reading them in order).

I usually leave anthologies alone, but split the box sets. Epubsplit is perfect for that.
