Sorry guys, somehow I missed this thread.
At the moment you indeed can not remove bookmarks from the list of bookmarks (long click on bookmark entry and click on "remove" icon pretend to remove selected bookmark, but after refresh it is still there). However if you go to the bookmarked page, you can un-bookmark it by clicking on the bookmark icon (triangle in the right upper corner). In the next update it will be fixed of course.
