I finally decided to order on October 7th at around 6pm. I received two confirmation emails within minutes, one said "new order", the other said "invoice", but otherwise they were pretty much identical. My credit card was charged on the 8th. I called them yesterday and was given a Canada Post tracking number, which worked at USPS.com.

The H2O arrived today, packed in a bubble mailer, not a cardboard box. I was surprised by that, but all is well despite the packaging. I love the size. The screen is absolutely beautiful, with no pinholes or uneven lighting. Sitting next to my Kobo Glo, the screen is a creamier color. I wouldn't call it yellow, but definitely not the bluish tint of the Glo. It appears to not be as bright as the Glo whether on 100% or all the way down to 0%. I consider that a plus as I always though the Glo's light was harsh when turned up more than 50% or so. I haven't read a book on it yet but my initial impression of it is that it's a keeper that will replace my Glo.

So, not quite 7 full days from placing the order to arrival in my Midwest USA mailbox (I did not have to sign for it). I never received a "your order has shipped email".
