Hmmm...I'm sorry you live in such a dark and cynical place, then. In my world, I also believe that an honest person is HONEST, and wouldn't take anything that doesn't belong to them. I believe that my neighbors are honest...actually, I would go so far as to say I KNOW they are, because I don't lock my doors or my car, and I leave my purse in my unlocked car overnight, sitting in my driveway. I wouldn't (and don't) associate with people I don't trust.
