Zombie-Kids by Julia Dweck with illustrations by Mark Draisey is a children's picture book enhanced with audio, part of the KiteReaders Monsters series, free courtesy of publisher KiteReaders, who've given us a few iTunes freebies in the past.
This will require a certain level of app/device to use, but the publisher's online reading version works fine (including the read-along audio portion which covers the entire book) in a standard web browser.
Currently free (may be expiring shortly at Amazon; I think they're offering that version via KDP Select using the 5 free days option, but the webstore version has been free for some time) @
Amazon (available to Canadians & in the
UK) & for online reading directly from
the publisher's webstore (will need to signup with an e-mail, but for free books, won't have to give them anything but your first/last name to checkout, no billing info required).
They've also a bunch of other freebies directly in their webstore (a few downloadable) which you can easily find by looking at the bestsellers rankings or just going through all their store categories and sorting by price. And they promise a further freebie if you sign up for their newsletter.
