So I'm thinking of the H2O as an adjunct to the Voyage. Splitting up the files and not worrying about converting with Calibre or any of that. Am I being too extravagant in getting both devices ? Or, OTOH, would it be beneficial to have the pair to use one for the mobi format, and the other for the epubs ?
I've got the Aura HD and Aura H2O and I'm awaiting Voyage on November 4th.
Personally, I prefer Aura HD over Aura H2O.
I'm not too fond of the design of Aura HD, but I like Aura H2O even less.
Aura HD has a "fold" on the back which makes it convenient enough to hold, although it's rather bulky. That fold is gone on Aura H2O and I find it really inconvenient to hold. Bulky, not much grip and no "fold" to grasp.
I'd only buy Aura H2O, if the waterproof feature is important to you. Display-wise I don't see much of a difference.
In direct comparison, Aura H2O seems brighter than Paperwhite 2. Even Aura HD seems slightly brighter than Paperwhite 2. But that's a vague comparison, you simply can crank up the light a bit on any of those readers...

So:
Aura H2O over Aura HD only for the waterproof feature, else I'd still go with the Aura HD.
Aura H2O over Voyage: I have to wait for Voyage myself. But I guess, hardware-wise there won't be much of a difference, so it mainly will be about the bookstore. Additionally, design is of some relevance for me and I personally prefer Kindles over Auras in that regard: Less bulky, better grip, a bit more "elegance".
