I have a PW1. It does it's job but I tend to upgrade even if I don't need to. I had decided this time to go with 3G because we spend a lot of our summer away from home on the weekends and no available/reliable wifi. It was important to have 3G this go round. However for a Voyage, a case, and a screen protector (anything glass has a screen protector in our house) I was looking at $364 for an ereader. In this day and age tha/ a lot of money for a one trick device.
Don't get me wrong: I have to have eink. We all know the benefits so I won't hash them out here. Instead I got a PW2 with 3G and a $20 case. It's still an upgrade but I'm trading in my PW1 to Amazon for $60 and taking that off the cost. It was much more palatable than what I was looking at for the Voyage! 😃
