I was very happy with my iRiver Story basic. The battery had deteriorated so much that I relaced it with a Kobo Aura HD.
Could I go back and loose the screen size, storage, interface and light? No.
Did I feel the need to upgrade when the iRiver was still running? No...
eBook readers miss the compelling reasons to upgrade most computer hardware has. The basic function (reading) is really fleshed out already.
