I don't think it's the battery, at least it's not acting like a weak battery normally acts for me. Usually a weak battery charges very quickly. This one still takes three hours (or so) to charge. Besides, up until this happened a couple days ago, I was getting three weeks to a month on the battery life without issues -- and it didn't show any weakening.

But, you're right, if it is the battery, it looks to be a pretty straightforward replacement. So far, since deleting the book and resetting, it appears to be holding a charge again. I'll keep a close eye on it and report back.
