It's nice to have a spare.
It's nice to have a horse in both races (kindle and ePub).
No single device is perfect, so it's good to see how other vendors handle the various issues; what things work, and what things don't.
I kind of like toys. There isn't a great reason for having more than one. Arguably there isn't all that good a reason for having one at all.
