Thanks dwig, nice to know I'm not crazy. That's exactly what happens to me. But I'm not switching to a tablet (yes I have one). The e-ink is far easier to read and I love the long life of the kindle battery - there aren't any tablets which can come anywhere near that battery life.
I guess I just have to decide whether to take the plunge on the Voyage ... it really does look like a nice device....
