That shouldn't be happening. I have read reports that saving and restoring QT window geometry doesn't work properly with some X11 window managers and I am guessing that is the case here.

I could add code to look for this particular type of position shift and undo it, but it would be messy and I prefer not to go there. So I think that for now you will just have to live with it. Sorry.
