Nope. You don't get to raise points, and then tell other people when they should stop talking about them. That's not how discussion forums work.

Returning to the topic at hand: virtually every phone and LCD tablet has a light sensor to control the level of illumination. In my experience these work pretty well, and it's a natural extension to extend the facility to frontlit eInk devices. I suspect it's something we'll see on a lot more devices in the future.
