Patrick Modiano, a Modern ‘Proust,’ Is Awarded Nobel in Literature

The french author Patrick Modiano wins the Nobel Prize in literature this thrusday.

With Patrick Modiano, France won its 15th Nobel Prize for Literature. The first prize was also awarded to a French, Sully Prudhomme in 1901 and France is the country with the largest number of winners.
