FREE--The Four-Hour Chef, by Timothy Ferriss

Leawo, a software company, is offering on its website a free download of the audiobook, The 4-Hour Chef (The subtitle, from Amazon.com, is The Simple Path to Cooking Like a Pro, Learning Anything, and Living the Good Life), by Timothy Ferriss. It is a "self-improvement manual guide." Here is the URL for the webpage for the print book at Amazon, which gives a full description of the content of the book: http://www.amazon.com/4-Hour-Chef-Co...r+chef+ferriss.

The blurb says that it is "critically acclaimed" and a "New York Times Bestseller." I didn't verify those things, but the print book at Amazon.com is rated 4 1/2 stars from 1,585 reviews at the present moment (interestingly, I didn't find the audiobook listed at Audible).

This seems to be a super deal. Amazon gives the list price of the print version of the book as $35.00.

There's a little bit of a "catch." First, it will be necessary for you to "register" an email address for yourself with Leawo. Second, the download will be in a .zip file format, which I always seem to have trouble using when I get one. To say the least, it is not nearly as straightforward to work with one as we are often used to with what we get from Audible.com, et al.

You are probably not as technologically-challenged as I am, but in case you are you might want to look over the instructions that you will get before you download the file (BTW-the file is huge--the print versions of the book are 672 pages!):
"1. Please click the 'Download' button above
2. Once the .zip file has completely downloaded, unzip and open the file
3. Individual .zip files of the intro and 5 chapters which comprise the audiobook will be found in the now unzipped "FOUR HOUR COOK" folder
4. Unzip each file and import them into a media player of your choice."

Here's the linky: http://deals.leawo.com. As I was writing this post up, I noticed that the little advertisement for the audiobook moved around the page a couple of times. On the page that I have open at the present moment, it is located at the very bottom. If you don't see it there, do a Ctrl-F search for it.
