right, maybe peripherals... i actually know that word, sorry, reinstalling my system makes me crazy *and* stupid, apparently. it's where you have all the things that need drivers, like sound, video, usb, ethernet, etc., and when you reinstall your system, if something is not installed properly / working, you get that yellow alert symbol next to it.
right click on your system, "properties", "material (?)"* tab, "peripherals manager". ("peripherals manager" ? that doesn't sound right. whatever, you figure it out.)
*sorry, i think i actually might know what that is called, but i can't for the life of me think of it... blame it on the fact that it's nearly 4 in the morning, i've been reinstalling my system for several hours now, i spent my saturday having a new computer built (which involved much footwork, as obviously i couldn't access internet earlier) and i never had lunch.
