I had fresh clams harvested this morning off the beach. They were simmered in white wine, garlic and a few herbs. Then a lovely green salad from our local market with many items still fresh. I had to fight my urge to get on the floor and rub myself into salady goodness.
So at some point I've had 2 brandies and at least 8 cans of seltzer water. If you please excuse me, I must undulate off to the facilities.
