Is there such a thing as invisible tags? Or...a way of tagging things that remain hidden, but can be searched?
I've just spent a huge effort to delete all extra tags and reduced them down to just plain genre tags. But I'd like to be able to add sub-genre?? tags in a way that they remain hidden (don't want them to show in the book view). I tried a custom column thinking this was the way to do it, but in the tags browser they come out rather ugly and the sort order is weird - example
"Timothy Zhan, Star Wars" comes out as Wars, Timothy Zhan, Star
I am always surprised at the myriad ways people here do things - and the awesome abilities of calibre - but trying to get my head around it is often tricky
