I know you've already purchased your 505 and I'm sure you'll be very happy with it but I just wanted to point out that you *can* check out books from the library with the Kindle, if they carry .mobi books. If they only or mostly carry pdf, or Digital Edition books, then the Sony would be the tight choice.
