Not sure how they're deciding to target it, but I would think looking at games in the app store would count. (I haven't looked at any PC videogames any time recently.)

Well that makes more sense than what I was thinking (extra coins for watching more videos).
The only apps I've purchased recently have been a few free apps-of-the-day and a few of the G5 games (
mentioned earlier - where I was trying to use up some coins) that are on
sale through today. Interestingly, my Amazon account shows "Prime Instant Video" as a free app "purchase." This is what you have to download from inside the Amazon store app in order to watch videos and qualify for the 500 coin promotion. I wonder if that's what earned the extra 300 coins?
