I hate the added weight of a case, so have been using a Marware SportGrip silicone skin for my Paperwhite (
http://www.amazon.com/Marware-SportG.../dp/B00EKOOBA2). Some people don't like the feel of the rubber but for me it makes it easier to grip, it's softer & has a more comfortable feel in my hand, and while it doesn't protect the screen, it does give some added protection if you drop it.
