I vastly prefer renting, especially now that it is so easy to do. I've gotten rid of the majority of my CDs, DVDs and paper books. I scan all of the papers that I need to retain, and shred them.
Now if I could just get rid of all of the rest of my junk. I have so much stuff that I don't want to burden anyone else with when I die.
