Almost any narrator can be a "bad narrator" if they're mis-matched with the book. (An American, for example, reading West with the Night.) Or, as someone pointed out above, a Brit reading Zane Grey. As for accents, do you really want a neutral, accentless, voice reading reading an Ian Rankin book?
All that being said, my least favourite narrator of all time is Allyson Johnson, who reads the Honor Harrington series. Horrible.
