Gotta love those clowns, with their happy gaping mouths, their twisted fatty lips...mouths monstrously wide in mute delirium, as they kill and kill and kill again. Yes, such happy, mirthful clowns.... 
Here's a novel I have yet to read, but I did find this:

Ok, this doesn't exactly sound like what I wrote above about happy, killing clowns. It looks like I'll have to write that one myself.
