I've just finished reading As The Crow Flies, by Jeffrey Archer. It was wonderful. For the first 300 pages I mentally gave it 4 stars. Then when the book went through a lethargic phase, I thought it deserved 3 stars. But soon that changed and the engrossing, major events led to a satisfying ending, and I found myself giving it 5 stars. I was also pleased that the book hasn't (yet) spawned any sequels.
The next book I'm going to read is Grave Peril (The Dresden Files #3) by Jim Butcher. I'm impatient to read it, but will refrain till tomorrow, if only to avoid any burnout.
EDIT - I've read the first 11%. Fantastic start to the book.
