True. This is a little different. The Kobo ereaders can go to sleep after a little while. It should only use a tiny amount of battery. But, they have a daily sync function. If asleep, it will wake, attempt to sleep and then go back to sleep. If there is a lot to sync, it could use 5% of battery. So, two weeks in sleep mode could easily use all the battery if the WiFi is on and daily sync is enabled.
